俺を困惑させるアニメインフルエンスドScreamo達の1つ、...AND ITS NAME WAS EPYONの2019年作品。エヴァでもAKIRAでもlainでもなくガンダム。もういい加減にしてください。しかし真面目に論じるぞ。新機動戦記ガンダムWの日本での放映は1995年であったが、USでは2000年に始まっており、USで最初に放送されたガンダムシリーズ作品だという。そしてこのタイミングがRadioheadが『Kid A』を発表し、アメリカ国内ではCity Of Caterpillar等の新しい世代のScreamoが確立しつつある時期でもある。ファンダムがオタク臭強い初期ガンダムの流れとも異なり、女性ファンにも支持される2000年代以降のガンダム文脈を背負うScreamoは日本でどう受け止めるべきか俺にはわからない。 MZTN

One of the best post-hc that I've ever heard, this stuff drills deep. Heart-grating album, full of bona fide cleansing fire. Spectre of sweet painful feelings that these guys adduce are so sincere, so genuine. Musicianship is awesome, plenty of little tricks and details going on all the time.
